Surprised! F2A current for all countries
Yes, it is not a typo. Family-sponsored F2A (Spouses and Children of Permanent Residents) visa category has become current for ALL countries in AUGUST. According to the State Department, the “Current” status will remain for the next few months in an attempt to fully utilize the available visa numbers for this category. Although there are large number of cases registered for F2A, there are not enough number of applicants who are actively pursuing final action on their case.
